Solicitation Identification: Solicitation number 70LGLY26Q00000060 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of a Classified Sound-Attenuated Door and Split-Frame Assembly Package for Room 8 at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco, GA. Small Business Set-Aside Status: This acquisition is 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 561622. PSC: 5670 Provisions and Clauses: This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference and in full text. CLIN: 00001 Description: STC 50 Sound-Attenuated Wood Door, Split Frame & Complete Hardware Package Quantity: 1.0 Unit of Issue: LOT Unit Price: Total Firm-Fixed-Price Pricing Terms & Tax Status: All-Inclusive Firm-Fixed-Price: Quoted pricing for CLIN 0001 is all-inclusive. All crating, in-transit insurance, freight transportation (FOB Destination), delivery, and hardware components must be included in the lump-sum price. Tax Exemption: The United States Federal Government is tax-exempt. No state, local, or sales taxes shall be applied. 3.0 Description of Requirement & Salient Characteristics (FAR 12.202(b)(1)(iii)) 3.1 Scope of Requirement This acquisition is strictly for the factory manufacture, hardware integration/preparation, protective crating, and delivery (FOB Destination) of one (1) factory-engineered, high-performance sound-attenuated wood door and split-frame assembly package. The door assembly must achieve an independently certified laboratory sound rating of Sound Transmission Class (STC) 50 or higher to satisfy federal standards for classified and secure discussion spaces (Secure Compartmented Information Facility [SCIF] / Secure Working Area [SWA] standards). Note: This contract is for supply-only delivery. Field installation, on-site wall integration, and perimeter drywall work are excluded. 3.2 Salient Physical, Functional, and Performance Characteristics To be deemed technically acceptable, the quoted door and frame package must meet or exceed all of the following minimum criteria: Door Leaf Construction & Acoustic Rating: Dimensions: Nominal size 3070 (3'-0" Width x 7'-0" Height; approximately 36" W x 84" H). Thickness conforming to manufacturer's certified STC 50 cross-sectional design (1-3/4" to 2-1/2"). Core & Faces: Premium architectural-grade wood veneer faces over an engineered acoustical damping core, resin-bonded to prevent warping, delamination, or acoustical flanking under continuous cycling. Acoustical Performance: Must achieve an independently certified rating of STC 50 minimum when tested in accordance with ASTM E90 and calculated per ASTM E413. Fire Labeling: Where required by facility wall design, permanent certified UL or Warnock Hersey (WHI) positive pressure fire label (minimum 20-minute). Split-Frame Assembly & Sound Sealing System: Frame Style: Heavy-duty acoustically engineered split steel frame (minimum 14-gauge or 16-gauge cold-rolled or galvannealed steel) designed for slip-on retrofit wrapping around finished interior drywall/stud wall assemblies. Jamb Depth: Sized to match the specific finished wall thickness of Room 8. Perimeter Acoustic Seals: Integrated dual/perimeter compression acoustic seals seated into recessed frame stops, maintaining airtight perimeter sound gasketing without causing latch binding. Threshold & Automatic Door Bottom (ADB): Heavy-duty extruded aluminum sound-rated threshold paired with a concealed or semi-mortised automatic mechanical drop-down door bottom seal that seats firmly upon closing and retracts upon opening. Hardware Suite & Factory Preparations (Brand Name or Equal): Locking Mechanism & Cylinder: Commercial heavy-duty mortise lockset factory-installed into the leaf, configured to receive a Schlage Model 20-079 626 satin chrome 6-pin/7-pin key cylinder (or technical equivalent fully compatible with FLETC key management). Hinges: Heavy-duty, precision-machined cam-lift hinges engineered for high-mass acoustic leaves.
