Browser-only supplier workspace
GovBidFit’s supplier profile, locally added opportunities, saved shortlist, bid/no-bid assessments, proposal checklist, internal deadlines and private notes are designed to be stored in browser local storage on the device you use. They are not added to a GovBidFit supplier database by the current browser workspace.
You can download a local backup, restore a backup and clear the workspace data from the browser. Clearing browser storage through your browser settings can also remove locally stored GovBidFit data.
Information needed to serve the website
Like most websites, GovBidFit’s hosting and security providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested URLs, network diagnostics and security events. This infrastructure data is separate from the supplier profile stored by the browser workspace.
Saved opportunity alerts and notifications
When you create an opportunity alert, GovBidFit stores a random browser identifier and the filters in that alert so it can record matching public opportunities. If you enable browser notifications, the browser push subscription is also stored until you unsubscribe.
If you choose email alerts, GovBidFit temporarily stores the email address you submit while waiting for confirmation. The confirmation link expires after 15 minutes. Email delivery starts only after you confirm the address. The address is used to send matching-opportunity digests and operational confirmation messages. Each alert email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops email delivery while leaving browser-saved alert rules available on the device.
Email and notification controls
Confirmation and alert emails are sent through Resend. Browser notifications are routed through your browser provider. Email-management links expire after seven days, and unsubscribing revokes previously issued management links. You can stop email delivery or unsubscribe your device on the alerts page. Saved rules remain until deleted. To request deletion of your stored email, alert identity, rules or contact messages, use our contact form.
Contact form messages
If you use the GovBidFit contact form, the name, reply email, topic, message, page URL and limited anti-abuse information needed to protect the form are sent to our private support inbox. These contact-form details are separate from the browser-only supplier workspace and are used to review, manage and reply to your message.
Contact messages may be routed through the Site Command support system and its contact-message storage. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, payment details, controlled solicitation information or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.
Analytics
GovBidFit counts successful page requests on its own server to understand which pages are used. These records contain the public page path, time and a separate request ID for reliable processing. They do not contain a visitor or session ID, IP address, full query string, referrer, device details or supplier profile. A request count is not a unique visitor count and may include automated traffic.
After you accept analytics, Site Command records browser sessions, referring sites, device and browser categories, language and engagement. Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BN0TC6SFG8) and Metricool also load after acceptance. These browser trackers stay off if you decline. Private email-management views are excluded from measurement.
Google Consent Mode keeps advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization denied by this analytics choice. Accepting analytics does not grant advertising consent. Your analytics choice is remembered for up to 180 days. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer and withdraw acceptance; the page reloads to stop active browser trackers. Your supplier profile and alert preferences are preserved. Global Privacy Control defaults to declined browser analytics unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
Advertising
If you allow Mondiad advertising in Cookie settings, eligible public pages may load one labelled banner from Mondiad. Mondiad and its advertising partners receive browser requests, including your IP address and browser information, to deliver and measure ads. Advertising is off by default and with Global Privacy Control enabled. You can change this choice in Cookie settings.
The private supplier workspace remains ad-free. Adcash and Adsterra advertising loaders are disabled. GovBidFit verifies Google AdSense ownership using a publisher meta tag and ads.txt. Executable Google ad-serving code is paused pending approval and appropriate consent configuration; accepting analytics does not enable Google ads.
Public pages may show clearly labelled direct sponsorships or promotions for websites from the same owner. If Google advertising is enabled later, this policy and the consent controls must identify the relevant providers and data uses. Personalized Google advertising for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland requires the applicable Google-certified consent management platform.
Links to official and third-party websites
GovBidFit links to official procurement sources and other external websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those sites, not by GovBidFit. Review the privacy notices on the destination site when you leave GovBidFit.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as GovBidFit adds functionality, analytics, advertising or new data flows. The effective date above will be changed when the policy is materially revised.
