Opportunity description

Stored from SAM.gov public data

The Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU) requires a major maintenance overhaul of its High-Pressure Air (AHP) System to maintain operational reliability, readiness, and mission support. To sustain critical operations, the multi-stage AHP compressors require an 8,000-hour major overhaul, encompassing complete teardown, component replacement, tolerance verification, and re-certification. The Contractor shall provide all labor, certified replacement parts, tooling, and test equipment necessary to execute the 8,000-hour major overhaul on the designated AHP compressors. All maintenance, inspections, and re-certification procedures shall be performed strictly in accordance with Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) AHP-R-2 (Rev 3) (Attachment 02). Maintenance actions must be phased to ensure continuous, redundant compressor availability throughout the period of performance. Please be advised that the full requirements, including Instructions to Offerors (FAR 52.212-1) and the basis for evaluation (FAR 52.212-2), are detailed in the solicitation attachments. A thorough review of all attached documents is required for a compliant submission.

GOVBIDFIT SCREENING LENS

What deserves attention before you spend bid time

Decision support

These screening signals are generated from the public notice fields stored for this specific opportunity. They are not eligibility findings or predictions; they are prompts for a faster, more disciplined review of the official solicitation.

Active solicitation stage

This record is in a solicitation stage, so submission instructions, evaluation factors, attachments and amendments should be reviewed before a bid/no-bid decision.

Very short response window

The stored deadline is within three days. Check earlier question, site-visit and attachment requirements immediately; the final response date may not be the first deadline that matters.

No socioeconomic restriction recorded

The current feed does not show a program-specific set-aside restriction. That does not remove other eligibility, responsibility, registration or solicitation-specific requirements.

Classification signal

NAICS 811310 · PSC J043 is the recorded classification. Use it as a screening clue, then compare the actual scope and deliverables rather than treating the code alone as proof of fit.

Official description available

GovBidFit has stored substantive notice text for this record, but attachments, clauses, amendments and Q&A can still contain requirements that are not visible in the description alone.

Review attachments, amendments, Q&A and submission instructions. Check place of performance, staffing, insurance, bonding and execution requirements.
Source and trust

GovBidFit is independent and is not a U.S. government website. GovBidFit stores a structured mirror of SAM.gov public opportunity data in its own database and keeps the compact snapshot as a fallback. The official SAM.gov notice remains the controlling source.
