This notice of Intnent to Sole Source is made to satify the requirments of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) Little Rock District (SWL) intens to award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP) Purchase Order to Lyle Machinery Co (cage 3D6L9). This is a supply purchase order to replace two (2) load cells with calibrations and upper mast pin in sheaves by fatory authorisezed personnel utilizing original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Work will take place at the Dardanelle Marine Terminal. This action will be executed under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) Restricting Competition for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT). The government intents to request quotes from one source based on the following rationale. Lyle Machinery Co. is the closest Link Belt authorized dealer capable of performing the required work by authorized personnel with OEM parts to be able to maintain operational certification on the Link Belt 348. The branch located in Columbus, MS will deliver and install all parts needed to fix said crane. Lyle Machinery Co is a Small Business under NAICS 334519.
