The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS), Region 11 has a requirement for Veterinary Services and Boarding Support for FPS K-9�s in the National Capital Region. The Contractor shall provide routine preventive veterinary care, routine incidental outpatient veterinary care, 24-hour emergency veterinary care, diagnostic testing, surgical capability, medications, grooming, medical boarding, secure boarding, medical record reporting. Services shall be provided at the Contractor�s veterinary clinic or hospital located within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of 1201 M Street SE, Washington, DC 20003. A Single-Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed-price provisions is anticipated. The anticipated period of performance will consist of five, 12 month ordering periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541940, Veterinary Services, with a size standard of $10 million. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) shall require the submission of a technical quotation as well as a price quotation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released to the System for Award Management (SAM) on or about 9/16/2026. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFQ as well as any updates to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered (http://www.sam.gov) in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the submission of their quotations.
