Combine service keywords with NAICS and PSC classifications, then check the federal agency, place of performance, notice type, set-aside status and response deadline. A relevant code can improve discovery, but it is not proof that the scope, qualifications or contract terms fit your business.

What counts as a federal contract opportunity?
SAM.gov publishes procurement notices from federal contracting offices. Depending on the acquisition stage, these can include sources sought notices, presolicitations, solicitations and combined synopsis/solicitation notices. The notice type helps explain where the procurement is in its lifecycle, but the official notice and amendments determine what action a vendor should take.
